Print Sketch Critique

 1. Why is texture so important to have in your sketches?

 Texture is important to have in this sketch because you need to  show the details of the animal to make it look real. The texture is also important to have because you need to have the animal stand out form the background. Also texture is important to have a realistic look to the animal.

 

2. Why is it necessary for you to have several references of each animal and each background? Explain.
Its good to have different references fo ou can combind all of the refereces to have one good animal. The same goes for the background so your can have the best picture. Also if you like one thing in one references you can add it to your own drawing.

3. When you look at your sketches are you able to see which sketch is the strongest and will make the best print? How do you know this? 
Yes I think that my seal is my beat drawing. I think that its the best because it has the best contrast in the drawing. Also the most texture in the animal with a little in the background.

Chalk Mural Critique

                                                                                                                                                       

1. Explain your experience working on a team and executing your ideas for the mural.
Working on a team was very different from just working by myself, bout it was fun. It was fun coming up with the idea of the mural, and putting it all together. When we were coming up with the idea we all though of two idea then we voted.

2. Explain the importance of collaboration when working on a team.

When your working on a team you have to plan and work together. If you everybody just comes in and starts working you will have no order. You will just have a bung of jobs half done. So your team needs to have collaboration to come up with a plan for everybody to have a job.

3.  How successful was this project? Explain how and why.
I think this project was a great success. The way it turned out was just the way the team wanted. In the end the Mural was very colorful and fun to interact with.

4. Explain how you feel about creating artwork that others can interact with.
I think creating artwork for other people to interact with was fun. Seeing how other people interact with the art is cool to see. The interact art also made the courtyard look really cool.
